To celebrate its 8th anniversary, Cuckoo International (B) Sdn Bhd donated materials to help repair a bridge and jetty in Kg Setia A. The renovated bridge and jetty were officially opened on September 13, 2024.
The official opening of the renovated bridge and jetty in Kampong Setia A was attended by Cuckoo Brunei employees and local residents. Also present were Awang Raimi bin Awang Rashid, Penghulu Mukim Zon 2 Kampong Ayer, and Awang Rahman bin Haji Kassim, Acting Village Head Zon 3 Kampong Ayer.
The renovation of the bridge that was done by the locals at Kampong Setia A aims to improve the lives of both residents and tourists. The renovated jetty now provides a convenient starting point for those wishing to explore Kampong Setia A.
During the Opening Ceremony event, Cuckoo Brunei presented a donation of essential food to selected family members from Kampong Setia A and B. This donation was presented by Cuckoo Marketing Executive, Amir Hazwan Hamidon and Penghulu Mukim Zon 2 Kampong Ayer, Awang Raimi bin Awang Rashid to the families at Perdana Wangsa Mosque.
With the donation of essential items, Cuckoo Brunei aims to help improve the overall well-being of underprivileged individuals and families. These donations can help to foster a sense of community and solidarity between the community and Cuckoo Brunei.
